This is a common misinterpretation of our ecology, as humanity can survive without bees.

Why can humans survive without bees?
Bees are recognized for cross-pollination. They pollinate 30% of the world's crops and without this help, we would have to manually pollinate our plants. Though this would be rather difficult to do ourselves, logically, we can do it.
People tend to assume that this would cause many crops to die, as thousands of these plants would not be pollinated.
