Strong bases include NaOH, LiOH, KOH, RbOH, `Ca(OH)_2`, `Ba(OH)_2`, and `Sr(OH)_2`.

Notice a pattern? Strong bases include the alkali metals and alkaline earth metals. Strong bases are those which dissociate fully when dissolved in water.

Please note that `Mg(OH)_2` is an exception to this and is classified as a weak base.
