Unfortunately, the TI-83 doesn't (to my knowledge) have the ability to graph functions that are not $y =$ $y=$ . Therefore, unless you want to do some ugly algebra to solve for $y$ $y$ , then you're probably better off just doing some easier algebra and trying to manipulate this into something you know (it looks to me like some sort of conic equation. Try pulling out GCFs and bringing $x$ $x$ 's and $y$ $y$ 's together).
