Factor y = 2x^2 + 27x + 13

Ans: (2x + 1)(x + 13)

Explanation:

I use the new AC Method.
Converted trinomial y' = x^2 + 27x + 26 = (x - p')(x - q')
p' and q' have same sign (rule of signs)
Factor pairs of 26 --> (1, 26). This sim is 27 = b.
Then p' = 1 and q' = 26.
Therefor p = 1/2 and q = 26/2 = 13

f(x) = 2(x + 1/2)(x + 13) = (2x + 1)(x + 13)
