The length is #7# and the width is #5#

We have #L# =length and #W#= width

Hence the perimeter is #P=2*(L+W)#

because #L=W+2# hence

#P=2*(W+2+W)=>2W+2=P/2=>2W+2=12=>W=5#

and #L=5+2=7#
