I'd say no, but I don't recommend playing with electronic devices.
Explanation:
I didn't have a Crooke's tube, but I had something similar to use. The demonstration shows me lighting up a fluorescent light using a Tesla coil.
Watch the video below, and see if you can figure out why the flow of electrons through the fluorescent light doesn't electrocute me!
