Boyle's law states that the volume of a fixed mass of gas is inversely proportional to it's pressure at a CONSTANT TEMPERATURE.

Explanation:

Suppose the volume of the gas is symbolized as V, pressure as P, temperature as T, n is the number of moles of the gas.

So Boyle's law can be explained as,
V is proportional to 1/P (inversely proportional) [T,n are constant ]
V= k "x" 1/P , k is a proportionally constant.

PV = k (cross multiplication)

So, it can be said that, " At a constant temperature, the product of multiplication of Pressure and Volume of a gas of fixed mass is always a constant."
