What is the electric current produced when a voltage of 9 V9V is applied to a circuit with a resistance of 3 Omega?

If we apply voltage V across a resistor whose resistance is R then the current I flowing across it can be calculated by

I=V/R

Here we are applying voltage of 9V across a 3Omega resistor, therefore, the current flowing is

I=9/3=3 implies I=3A

Hence, the electric current produced is 3A.
