What is the electric current produced when a voltage of 15 V is applied to a circuit with a resistance of 12 Omega?

If we apply voltage V across a resistor whose resistance is R then the current I flowing across it can be calculated by

I=V/R

Here we are applying voltage of 15V across a 12Omega resistor, therefore, the current flowing is

I=15/12=1.25 implies I=1.25A

Hence, the electric current produced is 1.25A.
