#y=6/5x+2#

Explanation:

#5y-6x=10#

  • Add #6x# to both sides

#6x+5ycancel(-6x)=10+6x#

  • Divide by #5#

#(5y=10+6x)/5#

#y=2+6/5x#

OR

#y=6/5x+2#

Notes:

  • Both of those answers are right, because of the Commutative Property of Addition
  • You could divide and then add if you want
  • You could also subtract #5y# form both sides, but then you would have to subtract #10#, divide by #5#, and multiply the whole equation by #-1#. I just thought the way I showed was faster.
