Write decimal fraction as normal fraction and then simplify it.

Explanation:

If you have decimals on the numerator in a fraction, to simplify, first write decimal number in fraction.

For example if the fraction is 3.375/12,

write it as (3375/1000)/12 i.e. 3375/12000,

which can be simplified to

(3xx3xx3xx125)/(3xx32xx125)=9/32
