To move the 7 away from the w subtract 7 from both sides.

The opposite of multiplying by 2 is dividing by 2 so

# -2/2 xx (w/3) # > # -6/2# This gives

# - w/3# > -3

The opposite of dividing by 3 is multiplying by 3 so
