Mitochodria are the power house of the cells and release energy.
Explanation:
- It is source of all energy needed for life on earth. The form of energy is ATP.
- It is respiratory centre in aerobic situation.
- The combination of oxygen and hydrogen and the transfer of energy to ATP occur on the inner side mitochondrial inner wall.
- Glycolysis, Kreb's cycle is related with Mitochondria. ETS is the final process of repiration in the Mitochondria.
