Forestry is related to the management, care, use, and conservation of forests for humans needs.

Explanation:

Forestry is related to the management, care, use, and conservation of forests for humans needs. This includes sustainable harvest of timber, the use of other forest products such as fruits or nuts , and management of forests for recreation and other human uses.

Forestry draws from biology, environmental science, ecology, economics, and other fields. Depending on the forest in question, a forester may need to be knowledgable about how to extract the largest yield of timber from a plot of land over a set period of time, or he/she may need to know about controlled burning practices for forest regeneration.

Foresters may work for governmental organizations, nonprofits, timber management companies, natural resource management companies, etc.
