How do brain cells work?

Brain cells are merely just another cell in the body. Same composition etc. However, they do have something special about them - their connections.
Explanation:
These connections in the brain are made by adjacent cells forming "pathways". When these cells "fire" a command, it is sent down the spine or into another part of the body through a long series of other important cells known as "nerve cells" or "nerves" for short.
