There are many adaptations which plant performs to do photosynthesis :-

  1. Roots of the plant Taenophyllym , Tinospora and Trapa (T^3 ) are green because they possess chlorophyll and are able to perform photosynthesis.

  2. Petioles of certain plants are also modified for performing photosynthesis.

  3. Stems ( Cercidium floridum ) are also modified for performing photosynthesis
