The Renaissance converged with the Scientific Revolution, and the Reformation to transform European Culture and Society.

Explanation:

The Crusades brought lost knowledge of the Greeks and Romans back from the Middle East and the Byzantine Empire to Europe. The fourth Crusade sacked Constantapole and multiple Greek Scholars came to Italy as a result. The exposure to the culture of the Byzantine changed Europe in many ways.

The power of the Roman Catholic Church was challenged by knowledge of the Greek Bible. The people of Europe were more free to think for themselves instead of being dictated to by the Ecelesastical authority. This freedom to decide things about religion for themselves influenced the Reformation in Religion and Democracy in Politics.

The art of the Greek and Romans centered on people and glorified the human body. The Renaissance ( a rebirth) changed the focus of art from religious themes to humanistic themes. Art not only reflects culture not changes culture. The art of the Renaissance changed the focus and goals of society to the needs of people instead of the church.

The Science of the Greeks, Romans, and Muslims was brought back by the Crusaders. This stimulated a renewed interest in science. The ideas of the Greeks could be examined and challenged. The Scientific Revolution was the result.

The Renaissance , Scientific Revolution, and Religious Reformation were all linked together. All were sparked by the same underlining ideas, and cultural influences from the exposure from the Middle East and Byzantine Empires.

The ideas of the Renaissance created a society that was more focused on the needs of people, more free, more democratic, and more advanced with scientific technology.
