Most enzymes work at an optimal temperature, which in humans is their normal body temperature.

Explanation:

In the human body, the optimal temperature at which most enzymes become highly active lies in the range of 95F to 104F.

The rate of reaction increases with an increase of temperature, as the heat enhances the kinetic energy of the enzyme and substrate molecules. On the other hand in low temperature conditions the reaction becomes slow.

Extreme temperatures are not good for enzymes as the weak H-bonds of the enzyme tend to break decreasing the rate of reaction or stopping it altogether.
