Explanation:

The Chicken embryo development is very similar to how human embryos develop. It starts with the two haploid gametes from the parents forming a diploid cell and then the differentiation begins by mitosis. During the development of the embryo,because there is no placenta to feed it from what the mother eats (as humans and mammals do) the egg yolk serves as a nutrition depot for the embryo to be provided with the necessary nutrients for development and growth.
