Protists( usually protozoa) that turn into human parasites cause diseases.

Explanation:

Protozoa make humans sick when they become human parasites. They go into body parts to cause illnesses. Some examples include Trypanosoma protozoa, which causes Chagas disease and sleeping sickness and Giardia protozoa, which causes giardiasis, a disease which causes an infection in your small intestine. Protozoa are mainly transported through stuff like contaminated water or food and through contact with skin on surfaces such as mud, sand, etc.
