the answer is #2(x+3y)^2#

Explanation:

first you find the GCF(greatest common factor) and that will be #2# so you'll get#2(x^2+6xy+9y^2)# and the rest inside is from what you get when you multiply #2# and the rest. now you have to figure out what two numbers that multiply to give you #9# and add to #6# so #3,3# and now you'll get #2(x+3y^2)# i shortened it but you don't have to if you have#x^2#, you don't have to do the long way, you can just figure it out from there. but this one, there's two #3s# so you can just put it like this#2(x+3y^2)#
