The formula for the area of a circle is #pi r^2#

So for the given radius of #(x+3)#, the area can be written as:

#A = pi(x+3)^2#

This is probably an easier way to use it but it cannot be evaluated until a value for #x# is given.

This answer could also be simplified to give:

#A = pi(x^2 +6x+9)#

I don't think there is any advantage to removing the brackets,
