This means that they will behave very differently in solution. This also means you will want to treat them differently in preparation of a solution.

$H F$ will not dissociate completely, and a solution of $H F$ will have trouble conducting an electrical current. $H I$ in solution would most certainly be able to conduct an electrical current, as it will completely dissociate .
