How is hydrogen chloride supplied in the laboratory?

The reagent that you buy from Fisher is 32-36% (w/w), and is approx. $10.6 \cdot m o l \cdot {L}^{-} 1$. This is has a pungent (and very caustic!) vapour pressure of $H C l$.
Of course, you could buy $H C l \left(g\right)$, which is supplied in a cylinder, but using this is often more trouble than it is worth................
