The reagent that you buy from Fisher is 32-36% (w/w), and is approx. #10.6*mol*L^-1#. This is has a pungent (and very caustic!) vapour pressure of #HCl#.

Of course, you could buy #HCl(g)#, which is supplied in a cylinder, but using this is often more trouble than it is worth................
