# How do we represent the reduction of 100*L of "potassium chlorate"?

The reaction is.....$2 K C l {O}_{3} \left(s\right) \stackrel{M n {O}_{2}}{\rightarrow} 3 {O}_{2} \left(g\right) + 2 K C l \left(s\right)$
However, a $100 \cdot {\mathrm{dm}}^{3}$ volume of potassium chlorate is an absurd quantity.....$K C l {O}_{3}$ is an ionic SALT, not a gas.......
