How can I edit answers on Socratic?

Click "Edit", it is to the right of the name of the person whose wrote teh answer.

You want to press the "Edit" button with the little crayon beside it.

That depends.

Newcomers to the site cannot edit answers written by other contributors, but they can edit their own answers.

To edit your own answers, just click on the Edit button.

If you're new to the site, you will not be able to see the Edit button for answers written by other contributors. Moreover, you will not be able to post answers to questions that have already been answered `->` more info on that here.
