"Evidence" may be found if isolated instances are searched. It does NOT imply that such therapies are generally applicable.

Explanation:

Many diseases can be caused or accelerated as well as mitigated by diets. Heart disease and diabetes in particular are often linked to dietary intake. Changing a diet may stop the progress or continuation of such diseases.

Proper diets may improve the autoimmune system and provide balance nutrients to our bodies, reducing the probability of opportunistic diseases.

Once a particular disease has made a major impact on a person it is much more difficult for it to be removed simply by a particular diet. While homeopathic therapies may be tried to avoid unnecessary side-effects from specific chemical therapeutics, they may not be sufficient in most cases to eradicate the illness.
