# A projectile is shot from the ground at a velocity of 2 m/s and at an angle of (7pi)/12. How long will it take for the projectile to land?

Throwing a projectile at an angle $7 \left(\frac{\pi}{12}\right)$ means it has been thrown at an angle of $5 \left(\frac{\pi}{12}\right)$ w.r.t to the horizontal on to the opposite direction.
Hence,time taken by the projectile to ascend upto its highest point can be calculated using $v = u + a t$ (all symbols are bearing their conventional meaning)
Here,$v = 0$ , u=$2 \sin 5 \left(\frac{\pi}{12}\right)$ ,$a = - g$
Hence total time to land will be $\left(2 \cdot 0.2\right)$ sec or 0.4 sec
