Planets by Radar Near by stars Parallax method. Galaxies Cepheid variables and red shift.

Explanation:

Earth's travel in one year is about 150 million KM. This is taken as base and measure parallaxenter image source here
Cepheids are variable stars.They have relation between pulsation period and luminosity.So they can be used standard candles to measure distance to Galaxies..
