#6 - 3x - 2y + xy#

We factor this expression by making groups of 2 terms
#= (6 - 3x) + (xy - 2y)#

Now we take the common factors out from each group
# = 3( 2-x) - y(2 - x)#

#( 2-x)# is a common factor to each of the terms now,

# = (2-x)(3-y)#

# color(green)( (2-x)(3-y))# is the Factorised form of #6 - 3x - 2y + xy#
