Use the distance formula, which is a rearranged version of the pythagorean theorem.

$d = \sqrt{{\left({x}_{2} - {x}_{1}\right)}^{2} + {\left({y}_{2} - {y}_{1}\right)}^{2}}$

$d = \sqrt{{\left(- 3 - 4\right)}^{2} + {\left(5 - 2\right)}^{2}}$

$d = \sqrt{49 + 9}$

$d = \sqrt{58}$

$d \cong 7.62 \text{ units}$
