t = -1t=1

Explanation:

I know this is going to sound corny, but what my Math Teacher would say is to "group your 'Poke's' (as in the plural of Pokemons) to one side and your 'Yugi's' (as in Yu Gi Oh Cards) on the other side of the equal sign."

So following that logic...

Let's say numbers with the variable tt is our "Poke's." Let's say the numbers without the variable is our "Yugi's."

16t - 19t = -7 + 1016t19t=7+10

Subtract/Add both sides.

-3t = 33t=3

Isolate the variable. (Divide by 33 or if you wanna be really smart divide by -11).

-t = 1t=1

Divide by -11 or multiply by -11, either way, you'll get the same answer; the reason for this is because you can not have a negative variable.

t = -1t=1
