# How do you solve by graphing y= -3x+1 and y= x-7?

May 18, 2015

You have to find the intersection of two lines:

the first is

graph{y=-3x+1 [-10, 10, -5, 5]}

and the second is

graph{y=x-7 [-10, 10, -5, 5]}

By putting both of them in the same graph

you can easily find the intersection p=$\left(2 , - 5\right)$
