Angular speed, from orbital speed, at perihelion: At perihelion and aphelion, angular acceleration is 0. So, angular speed is simply v/r.
Answer:1.18E-05 deg/s = 1.02 deg/day


Here, v = 30.29 km/s.and r = 1.471 E+08 km. The average angular speed is 0.9856 deg/day. Earth turns at maximum angular speed at perihelion. Likewise, the minimum at aphelion can easily be computed.It is nearly 0.94 deg/day.
