How many unpaired electrons are in a Germanium atom, which has the atomic number 32?

There are two unpaired electrons in Germanium atom.


Using the Hund's rule,we can determine the unpaired electrons of Germanium.By using Aufbau rule,we can see that the last two elecrons of germanium enter the p orbital and then we will use Hund's rule and see that the spin of these two electons is same and they stay at two different shells.
