Is there a way to edit pictures that other people would, such as drawing on them to show someone what they're missing? Just curious.

So if you're new to the site, you won't be able to edit any part of another contributor's answer, including the images added to the answer.

As an alternative approach, you can simply let the contributor know about the error by leaving a comment in the comments section. If the contributor doesn't reply, you can send me a note about it and I'll swing by and investigate.

Now, full members can edit the image added to an answer by going into edit mode--the Edit button will help you with that. Once you're in edit mode, you can save the image on your computer, edit it using a photo editor, and upload it back in the answer.
