# The reaction time in a laboratory setting is how many seconds?

I don't know. You haven't specified the reaction.

Any given reaction can occur for any given number of seconds... or hours. Or days. Maybe even years, or decades...

There are reactions like

that take about $10$ seconds... and you may see syntheses in organic labs that take a few days.

Or... consider that the hydrolysis of a given peptide bond usually takes over $100$ years to occur, so even though it is thermodynamically favorable, we don't have to worry about death by hydrolysis. :-D
