What are some practical applications of gas laws?
Real-life example based on Charles law.
A hot air balloon floats as the air inside is not as dense as the air outside.
According to Charles law, temperature and volume have a direct relationship. This means that if one variable increase, the other will as well. This increase in volume makes the volume greater, leading to a significant decrease between the density of the air inside and outside the balloon. As a result, the balloon becomes lighter and is able to float on air.
