The seedless plants reproduce by spores, while seed-bearing plants reproduce by seeds.
Explanation:
Broadly we can divide the plants into two groups on the basis of either seeds produce or not. The two groups are Cryptogams and Phanerogams.
The Cryptogams are seedless plants and reproduce by asexual spores. The lower groups of plants fall under this category such as Algae, Fungi, Bryophytes, etc.
The Phanarogams are seed bearing plants. They produce seeds. Seeds are mature ovule. The higher groups of plants fall under this category such as Gymnosperm and Angiosperm.
