Conjugated ketone has a C=C unit attached directly to carbon of the carbonyl group. While in Non conjugated ketons the carbonyl group don't contact with any C=C unit

Explanation:

CH_2=CH-C(O)-CH_3 is a simple conjugate ketone (the C atom connected to the C atom of the carbonyl group forms a double bond to another C atom.while CH_2=CH-CH_2-C(O)-CH_3 would be non-conjugate because the C atoms forming the double bond don't contact the carbonyl group directly.
