Glycine, which has a sidechain hydrogen, is not chiral. It is because it has only three substituents are unique, not four.
One place where you would find glycine, for example, is in a potassium-selective KcsA ion channel protein, in which it allows fluid/smooth potassium transport through a selectivity filter.
