The relation between polar coordinates $(r,theta)$ and Cartesan coordinates $(x,y)$ is given by

$x=rcostheta$ , $y=rsintheta$

Hence as $sin(theta+pi/2)=costheta$ ,

$rsin(theta+Pi/2)=2$ can be written as

$rcostheta=2$ or $x=2$
