# What type of element has the electron configuration [Kr]5s^2 4d^10 5p^2?

If the element has got such a configuration it has $36 + 2 + 10 + 2 = 50 \cdot \text{electrons}$...then the neutral element MUST have 50 protons, i.e. ${Z}_{\text{the atomic number}} = 50$.... If only there were something that listed the names of the elements according to their atomic number....
