They are actually bad if they are found in the urine in high concentration .Here's why:-

When KETONES are found in our urine in high concentration is is an indication of the fact that the body burns fat rather than glucose from the blood which is NOT NORMAL..

This mode where fat is burned instead of glucose is termed as "KETOSIS".

Normal or controlled BG does not have any side effects but a person having high BG, this could prove to be more dangerous.

This is because the blood is poisoned by the acids which is termed as ketoacidosis.

This could also lead to high levels of dehydration and change in the body's chemical balance. This ketoacidosis is mostly common after exercise or during pregnancy (only for persons with high BG).
