The molarity of your diluted solution will be 0.175 M.

When you dilute a solution, what you're essentially doing is keeping the number of moles of solute constant, and increasing the volume of the solution.

Since molarity is defined as moles of solute per liter of solution, increasing the volume of the solution while keeping the number of moles of solute constant will result in a decreased concentration.

#C = n/V = "constant"/V => C * V = "constant"#

This means that you have

#C_1V_1 = C_2V_2#, where

#C_1#, #V_1# - the concentration and volume of the initial solution;
#C_2#,#V_2# - the concentration and volume of the diluted solution.

In your case, you'll get

#"1.75 M" * "10.0 mL" = C_2 * "100.0 mL"#

#C_2 = (10.0cancel("mL"))/(100.0cancel("mL")) * "1.75 M" = color(green)("0.175 M")#

Essentially, you've diluted the solution by a factor of 10. Check this link out for more explanation on the dilution factor
