The vertex form is:

#y-y_v=a(x-x_v)^2#.

So:

#y-2=2x^2#,

#V(0,2)#

To find y-intercept, we have to put #x=0#, so #y=2#.

To find x-intercept, we have to put #y=0#, so #2x^2+2=0#, that is impossible.
