Lungs provide enough oxygen that allows the heart to function properly.

Explanation:

We all know that lungs help on our breathing process, not only that, because it also helps on pumping oxygen to the heart. Thus, allowing our heart to pump properly.

The lungs, at the cellular level, provide the mechanism which enables the exchange of gases, most importantly the provision of oxygen and the removal of carbon dioxide to and from the blood. The gases are found in the air that is inhaled from the atmosphere and are exhaled to the atmosphere. (Source: James G.)
