=#(2y+3)(3y-2)#

Explanation:

I HATE this method, but here goes..

The term in the middle has to be split into two terms.
TO find them, first multiply #6 xx 6 = 36#

Find which pair of factors has a difference of+ 5?

#+9-4 =5#

So this tell us how to write #5y#

#6y^2 +9y -4y -6#

=#3y(2y +3) + 2(-2y -3)#

=#3y(2y +3) - 2(2y+3)#

=#(2y+3)(3y-2)#
