Most scientists do not believe it is flat.

Explanation:

The reason being that we can move in #3# dimensions, while if the word was flat we would only be able to move in #2# dimensions.

For example, Mario games are all #2D#, as Mario can only move in 2 dimensions - up and down and left to right. However because depth exists in the real world the universe must have 3 dimensions overall.

The big bang theory also suggests a spherical universe, as the universe is - according to the big bang theory - expanding in all directions at all times.
