it is believed that there are about #10^11# galaxies in the universe containing #10^11# stars (in each galaxy).

But that's really an estimate of number of galaxies and stars they might differ but till now it is believed to be accurate .
As there are numerous galaxies in our universe and all are moving far away (big bang theory <which proves that the galaxies are moving far away from each other , as the distance between the galaxies increases their speed also increases > ) .

Accurate number of galaxies as per me could only be measured when this universe collapses again after billions of years ( as per pulsating universe theory < a theory according to which the universe would expand for a great duration of time and would again collapse >).
